The Spring Festival refers to the traditional Chinese New Year in the Chinese cultural circle, commonly known as the "New Year's Day". The traditional names are the New Year, the New Year and the New Year, but it is also known orally as the New Year, the celebration of the New Year and the New Year. It is the most solemn traditional festival of the Chinese nation.

The Spring Festival originated from the worship of gods and ancestors at the beginning and end of the Yin and Shang Dynasties. It is the most grand, lively and important ancient traditional festival in China. In Chinese folk, the Spring Festival in the traditional sense refers to the sacrificial ceremony on the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, or the sacrificial stove on the 23rd or 24th of the twelfth lunar month, until the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, with the New Year's Eve and the first day of the first lunar month as the climax.

During the Spring Festival, Chinese Han and some ethnic minorities will hold various activities to celebrate. These activities are mainly about sacrificing to ancestors, worshiping ancestors, removing the old and making new arrangements, welcoming the new year and receiving blessings, and praying for a good harvest. The activities of the Spring Festival are colorful, with strong ethnic characteristics. Influenced by Chinese culture, some countries and nationalities belonging to the Chinese character culture circle also have the custom of celebrating the Spring Festival.
